About Kiara Steelhammer:
1. I am a Senior Theatre Major at SHSU with an acting/directing emphasis.
2. I am taking this class to learn more about Dramaturgy and the art of what goes into producing a play.
3. In the upcoming year, I am going to take two directing courses and the plan is to be directing in the outside world as well. This class will assist me in making sure the plays that I direct are accurate.
4. I have not had any prior experience with actual dramaturgy but I did direct a UIL show for a junior high in which I had to research everything about the turn of the century.
5. I will be examining Barefoot In The Park by Neil Simon.
